Laboratory relocation

As early as possible. For a complex relocation, multiple pieces of critical equipment, regulated environment, tight timelines, six months of lead time is not excessive. 

The more time we have to scope and plan, the fewer surprises on move day. That said, we've worked on projects with tighter timelines and we'll tell you honestly what's achievable.

We can do either. Some clients bring us in to manage the entire relocation end-to-end. Others have an internal project lead and need us to handle specific elements — decommissioning and recommissioning, calibration and mapping or lab readiness assessment. We'll work around your existing team and resources.

The physical transport of laboratory equipment is coordinated as part of the overall project. 

Michael manages the process end-to-end, bringing in specialist laboratory removals contractors and OEMs where needed for complex or sensitive equipment. You have one point of contact throughout, not a different company for every part of the move.

This is something we plan for from the start. Equipment calibration records, qualification documentation and SOPs all need to be considered as part of the relocation. We make sure the post-move calibration and verification work feeds into your quality system so you're audit-ready when your lab opens.

Yes. A lot laboratory relocation experience has been in regulated environments. We understand the documentation requirements, the qualification process and what auditors need to see. 

If you're working to a specific regulatory framework, tell us upfront and we'll make sure the project is managed accordingly.
 

It depends entirely on the size and complexity of the project. A single-lab move with straightforward equipment can be completed in a matter of days. A large, multi-lab relocation on a regulated site can take months from initial scoping to final sign-off.
