Accreditation

Our UKAS Accreditation

UKAS accreditation means an independent body has assessed how we work, verified our processes and equipment, and confirmed that we meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017; the internationally recognised standard for calibration laboratories.

Our accreditation details

Calibrio Limited holds UKAS accreditation number 32026, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025: 2017

(View our full schedule of accreditation on the UKAS website here)

What we are accredited to calibrate

Our UKAS accreditation covers the following measured quantities, carried out either at our laboratory or on your site:

Temperature

  • Indicators with probes and data loggers (-40 °C to 130 °C) — laboratory
  • Single or multipoint temperature mapping of chambers, fridges, freezers, cold rooms, hot rooms and plasma thawers (-90 °C to 100 °C) — on site
  • Centrifuge temperature (3 °C to 40 °C) — on site

Weighing instruments

  • Self-indicating non-automatic weighing instruments (up to 8 kg) — on site

Rotational Speed

Centrifuges and agitators (100 to 60,000 rpm) — on site

Time

Timers and stopwatches (10 s to 7,200 s) — laboratory and on site

If you need to verify whether a specific instrument or range falls within our accredited scope, our full schedule of accreditation is available on the UKAS website here

What UKAS accreditation means in practice

When you receive a calibration certificate from Calibrio, you're receiving a document that has been produced under a framework that UKAS has independently assessed and approved. That covers our methodology, our reference equipment, the traceability of our measurements and our quality management system.

It means that when your auditor asks for evidence, whether you're working to GxP, MHRA, ISO or any other regulated framework, our certificates are designed to hold up to checks.

On-site and laboratory calibration

Most of our calibration work is carried out on site at your laboratory, which is reflected in our accreditation schedule. For some equipment, particularly temperature indicators, probes and data loggers, we also carry out calibration at our laboratory in Cheshire. We'll confirm the right approach for your equipment when you get in touch.
